The Peace Education Center is more than an after-school provider — it is a movement to reimagine education as a human-centered, democratic, and peace-oriented experience, led by Dr. Naser Yousefi, children’s author, child psychologist, and specialist in humanistic education.

We offer a rich ecosystem of enrichment opportunities — including after-school programs, summer camps, adult education, and community events — designed to nurture children’s emotional, social, creative, and intellectual growth beyond the classroom.

Our programs are guided by university-educated educators and grounded in a unique humanistic pedagogy that has been recognized by UNICEF, UNESCO, and UNHCR, supporting our international expansion and global impact.

Flexible, Family-Centered Support Beyond the School Day
We support schools and working families through safe school pick-up and supervised transitions, flexible and extended-time care, Parent Night Out programs, and care during PA Days, seasonal breaks, and community events — reducing daily stress while strengthening schools as caring community hubs.

The Peace School is a movement to reimagine education as a human-centered, democratic, and peace-oriented experience.
It’s grounded in humanistic psychology (Maslow, Rogers, Freire, Malaguzzi) and promotes three inseparable principles:
Democracy: giving students, families, and educators a real voice.
Peacebuilding: cultivating empathy, nonviolence, and cooperation.
Humanism: seeing every child as a full, capable human being, not a vessel for grades or tests.
